    Not sure about Pandya - who is KKD - u mean KDK?
    Would prefer Raina in place of Pandya.

    Ravi, Pandya bowls 140+ and was a treat to watch in ind- nz series in ind. He cud b a handful in Eng. He is the bowling all rounder option. He cud open the bowking with Bhuvi. I'm excited abt our bowling in a long time. Kkd is Dinesh Karthik. Not sure abt Raina in Eng.

    I'd prefer Bumrah over Umesh in ODIs, and maybe open with Rahane instead of Nohit because it's England in June...

      Umesh is a strike bowler n we need one. Umesh makes a compelling case to play esp. after hid latest test exploits. His line has def. improved n Kohli has his trust. Bumrah is more of a death over specialist. Rohit, is a match winner and needs to be played.

    Maybe also play both Ashwin and Jadeja as there will be too many pacers with Pandya, Bhuvi and Shami around and no bowling options among the batsmen...

      Crazy as it sounds, i'm on the fence with Ash. on the playing X1. May be opp. dep. esp. with lot of left handers. Jaddu, is too valuable to be left out in ODI's.

    It is one of those days when you feel someone dear to you has passed. The last time I experienced this feeling was when Aus. thrashed India in the WC final in 2003 . Oz. was just too dominant and India simply outclassed. The Indians have come a long way since then and won a few championships since. Today's thrashing by Pak. is a wake up call and India would be wise to use this as a lesson for 2019 WC. Ind. SA thread

  Both teams enter a do or die knock-out battle reeling from a shock defeat their previous game. Ind. are marginal favt. heading into this virtual quarter-final . The pitches in Eng. have been sort of a mystery or just plain flat. Not sure what sort of pitch we could expect at Oval. Hopefully, we do not get a surface like a road. Such pitches make for a boring viewing. * The same pitch from Ind. - SL  game will be reused. Adv. India since they played on this surface and also lost :). So, loads of runs should be on offer. The toss has played a vital factor in almost all the games so far. The team batting second has won most games and also with the threat of rain always looming  around it is a better choice to bat last. SA do not like to chase and Ind. would like to bat last. In all likelihood, we will have Ind. chasing a target.   Indian batting though good has not been explosive yet, this could be the game it catches fire. The top order has fired and is in fine ...
